T801 BRP This Jaguar S-Type is a privately owned preserved police vehicle. To comply with the road vehicle lighting regulations, the blue light bar is covered up and the car is clearly marked as being “not in service”.
OV02 YKH This Vauxhall Omega saw service with Thames Valley police before being retired into preservation.
The Met Police operate this black rigid inflatable boat. It can carry 12 officers seated at high speed down the Thames. Notice the two blue multi-direction flashing LEDs on the rear framework.

SUK 530S This is classic Triumph 2500TC police car that saw service with West Midlands Police from 1977. Notice the two white spotlamps on the roof, a common feature of traffic vehicles from this era.
YJ09 EXA This is a Ford Focus from North Yorkshire. It is shown here parked up in front of a floodlit York Minster on a snowy winter’s night.
EF07 MKO This is a Ford Ranger that is used by New Spitalfield Market Constabulary. It has a simple red stripe down the side and an amber light bar. It is the only car used by the constabulary that is part of the City of London Corporation.
The rear view. Notice how the amber light cannot be seen from the rear when the car is being driven around the grounds of the large fruit and veg market. They deal with matters including stopping illegal immigrants and providing emergency medical assistance.
Inside the Truckman rear are wheel clamps, road cones and granules to soak up diesel spills.
P838 HMC Billingsgate Market Constabulary uses this Vauxhall Astra estate. It has a yellow stripe down each side and constabulary markings. It is the only vehicle they have to get around the fish market site.

A constable of Smithfield Market’s London Central Markets Constabulary poses by the entrance to their office. The constabulary do not operate any vehicles as they can easily walk around the meat market. The constabulary falls under the City of London Corporation.

A Beadle of Burlington Arcade poses in a shop entrance wearing the traditional uniform of top hat and waistcoat. The Beadles are there to enforce the rules of the arcade and have been doing so since its opening in 1819.
Rules include no whistling, no running and no carrying of large items. They claim to be the smallest private police force in existence with four beadles.

EA06 OUX This is a Suzuki DRZ 400 SK5 trials bike that is used by the London Borough of Redbridge Parks Police Service. It is not fitted with any emergency warning equipment.

EN06 CYG This silver Ford Transit is used by Redbridge Parks Police. It carries a simple blue chequered pattern down the sides and “Parks Police” wording.

In this action scene the Transit is seen in use alongside a Parks Police 4×4 to assist the ambulance service in transferring a patient from an ambulance to London’s air ambulance.

EK06 XTC This Ford Ranger is with Redbridge Parks Police. It is fitted with a full-width light bar and searchlights to the front and rear.

OY59 KXF This Seat Altea is here being used as a rural policing vehicle in Nottinghamshire. It is a 1.9 litre turbo diesel model.
The rear view. The small sticker indicates that the vehicle has been converted by a company called EVO (Emergency Vehicle Options) who own this demonstrator.
An unusual detail about this vehicle is the rear has been converted for detainee transportation. Solid plastic seats and a perspex shield are just some of the alterations made. The car is often used to transport detainees long distances to the nearest custody suite.

LH08 MWJ This is a City of London Police BMW R1200RT. It is in high-visibility yellow with small blue battenburg markings that are angled to match the slope of the bodywork.

VX58 JHM This is a rear wheel drive Ford Transit manufactured in 2009. It is with West Mercia Constabulary and is used by a vehicle examiner.

LD08 URF This silver VW Golf is operated by Hammersmith and Fulham parks constabulary in London. It carries an amber light bar and a simple livery.
YAZ 8023 Here we see a heated scene from Northern Ireland where the PSNI are using a dual-monitor water cannon against hostile members of the public. The truck is supported here by two Land Rover Tangis.
LW09 LHM This dark blue Mercedes Benz Sprinter is used by the City of London police.
BX56 WKM A Met Police Iveco Daily personnel carrier and mobile detention unit. It is the 35S17 medium wheelbase model with the three litre engine.
This Iveco Daily 35S18 truck is demonstrating its ability to demount the rear to make a freestanding police cabin. Notice the light bar is blue and red on this demonstration vehicle.

G-DCPA This Eurocopter BK177 is part of the Northern Ireland Police Service and was previously with Devon & Cornwall (hence the call sign). This is fitted with some of the most high tech tracking systems including a heat seeking camera and multi-channel radio communications.
This Jaguar XF is yet to see active service when photographed. It has a clear light bar on the roof with hidden grille lights not visible in this picture.
BX59 CGV This BMW is one of Paddington’s Rapid Response Units responding to an emergency call in Trafalgar Square. The car is in service with the Met Police.
This Ford Fiesta was new to the police service in November 2010. It is fitted with a slim LED blue light bar on the roof which attracts attention while still being aerodynamic.
